Characteristics of theoretical personality models in the context of the formation of a harmoniously developed personality by means of combat sports

The article discusses the problem of theoretical understanding of personality structure in modern psychology. The analysis of various approaches to personality modeling is carried out, their eclecticism and lack of a single generally accepted theory are revealed. Special attention is paid to the role of physical culture and martial arts as a system-forming factor in the development of all structural components of personality. It is concluded that the practice of martial arts, combining physical education with spiritual and moral principles, is an effective means of forming a holistic, socially adapted and morally mature personality in conditions of a lack of systematic education in modern society.
