Description of the typology of first-year college students at the stage of socio-psychological adaptation

The article presents results of the empirical research of the socio-psychological adaptation of college students. The author suggests a typology of first-year students, which is based on the cluster analysis results. The most essential variables of the typology are: adaptation/de-adaptation level, extraversion/introversion, maturity level of self-consciousness, communication and activity qualities of a person.
