This article presents the results of the study of the characteristics of aggressiveness and life-meaning orientations in men and women. The hypothesis to identify differences between men and women in the level of aggression and life-meaning orientations was tested by empirical methods such as: "Questionnaire of the level of aggression", developed by A. Bass and A. Darkia, standardized by A. A. Hvan, Y. A. Zaitsev and Y. A. Kuznetsova, as well as the test "Life-Meaning Orientations (MLO)" by D. A. Leontiev, developed by J. Crumbo and L. Maholik. By means of the mathematical method was chosen statistical U-criterion - Mann-Whitney criterion to identify the significance of differences. The result obtained during the study showed that both men and women have the same level of aggressiveness, but have different manifestations of it. Thus, it turned out that women tend to demonstrate verbal and indirect aggression, as well as aggression directed at themselves. Men in the course of the study showed predominance of physical aggression. In the method "Life-meaning Orientations" developed by J. Crumbo and L. Maholik it was revealed that in women the scale "Result" prevails, which indicates increased responsibility.
