Characteristics of authenticity of a leader’s image

The article is devoted to an important component of leadership - the authenticity of the leader's image. The author examines the characteristics of authenticity, based on research in this area, and proposes a classification of characteristics according to the management style. The author derives eight identifications of the management style, which are analyzed in detail according to a set of related features that make it possible to correlate the selected style with a particular category. The theoretical significance of the article lies in the fact that for the first time the pro-characteristics and anti-characteristics of the specified managerial style are highlighted, and their detailed analysis is presented. The practical significance of the article lies in the possibility of adjusting the management style, based on the identified shortcomings indicated in the article, in an effort to improve management approaches. A visionary leader is able to build a long-term strategy, anticipate and foresee possible scenarios for the development of events. Motivator has the ability to motivate his followers to achieve their goals and achieve maximum results without losing enthusiasm and drive. Mediation features allow the head to avoid conflicts and diplomatically resolve emerging issues. Any authentic leader strives to be a role model for his subordinates, as well as for partners and colleagues. Modern management is based on empathy, in addition to a direct hierarchy of subordination, and an effective coordinate system for managing relationships is built with full self-awareness of the leader and awareness of social effects.
