Analysis of factors forming trust in financial organizations among the population of the Russian Federation: from the role of the state to socio-demographic characteristics

The article reviews the Russian and international research on the formation of trust in financial organizations, in particular, in banks. Based on the results, the author identifies the attributes that can increase or decrease trust in banks, and highlights the complexity of the mechanism of trust formation among the population of the Russian Federation. As the analysis shows, the Russian society tends to form a general trust attitude without distinguishing institutions that are trusted more or less.
