Characteristics of the competence profile of students in the first year of university studying

The article examines the dynamics of the competency profile for first-year students, which is assessed taking into account the psychological parameters of the student's individual educational trajectory in the educational process of higher education. The author considers the role of selective tasks in the formation of readiness to choose. The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of individual dynamics based on an empirical study using the method of longitudinal psychodiagnostic sections. The hypothesis about the role of selective techniques that contribute to the formation of readiness for informed choice is reliably confirmed by 4 indicators: "internality in interpersonal communication" and "readiness for independent planning, implementation of activities and responsibility for it"; "emotional intelligence" and "negotiation skills."
