Characteristics of abnormal operating modes of an asynchronous electric motor

The article discusses the situation in the conditions of modern energy industry, reliable operation of electric motors is of key importance for production processes. Increasing the service life of an electric motor is a complex task, and therefore, a more detailed analysis of the factors that most influence the reliability of an electric motor is useful. Of particular practical importance is the urgent task of technical improvement of overload protection in order to increase the efficiency of its operation, and as a consequence, the operational reliability of the most common asynchronous electric motors in industry.
