The Naxi people's life features in the China's republican period (1912-1949)

The article deals with the situation of the Naxi people in the Republican period of China's history. This research analyzes the social and political and economic aspects of the Naxi situation. It considers some issues on the spiritual life of this national minority. The results show that the situation of the Naxi people and their life in the Republican period was relatively stable due to the economic development growth in Lijiang and the preservation of the traditional spiritual and material culture, against a background of intensified interaction with the Han culture.
