Characteristic features of the case category in the accents of the Azerbaijani language

The study of the dialects of Azerbaijani language shows that, case category in separate regions differs many from literary languages. The nominative case does not make any difference about using in dialect and accents with literary language. The genitive case is characterized with lot of different features in our dialect and accents, and also preserves the most distinctive features. Dialectological research shows that, in contrast to the literary language, a number of dialects and accents possessive case and dative case are not dual, but dualistic. All Oguz groups language, except the Turkmen language, the main expression tool of dative case “-a, -ə, -ya, -yə” have some distinctive features in our dialects and accents. In addition to the fact that dative case can be used in a number of other cases, it also has the capability of closing open vowels in the word roots. In addition to instrumentalize and prepositive cases, there is also commutative case in our dialects and accents.
