The paper explores the features specific for a contemporary image of Russian State authority. The carried out study considered an everyday political discourse in verifying comments and statements about place and part the politics take in lives of contemporary Russians, their evaluation of events. The paper considered stereotypic images of a contemporary State' authority and mass consciousness.
