This experiment studied the intensity of ferrum-induced chemiluminescence of blood plasma of cows with postpartum endometritis. When comparing indicators of chemiluminescence of blood plasma, it was determined that the greatest ability of the system components of blood plasma be subjected to free radical oxidation in cows patients with chronic endometritis. This was confirmed by higher values of chemiluminescence: light sum 21.1%, and the maximum luminosity by 49.7%. In the group of cows with acute postpartum endometritis, similar changes in indicators of chemiluminescence of blood plasma were identified. These were the increase of the light sum of 16.3%, and maximum luminosity by 43.5% in comparison with the control group. In animals without clinical signs of endometritis after treatment, the indicators of chemiluminescence of blood plasma were not significantly different from the control group, except for the maximum luminosity. Antioxidant activity with the development of acute postpartum endometritis is reduced by 19.8% in the postpartum period. The lowest values of antioxidant activity were determined in the blood plasma of animals with chronic endometritis with 24.8%. This is below the values of the control group, and in the group with acute postpartum endometritis. Antioxidant activity of blood plasma groups of animals without clinical signs of endometritis after treatment increases, however does not reach the values of the control group. The highest intensity of free radical processes and a lower ability to resist oxidative processes are present in blood plasma of cows with chronic endometritis. Conducted complex drug therapy leads to normalization of indicators of chemiluminescence in the blood plasma of cows.
