Chemical faculty of Dorzhi Banzarov Buryat State University

The Chemical Faculty of Buryat State University was established on December 30, 1997. The opening of the faculty was due to the need in new economic conditions to train highly qualified personnel in priority areas of fundamental chemical science, technology and modern environmentally safe technologies, as well as the need to train chemists in connection with the inclusion of Lake Baikal in the World Natural Heritage List, which led to severe environmental restrictions in the region and higher requirements for protection protection of the environment from pollution, including chemical.
