Surgical treatment of patients with bladder cancer

Reviewed domestic and foreign literature on surgical treatment of patients with bladder cancer. According to research by domestic and foreign authors, bladder cancer the most frequent neoplasm of the urinary tract. In modern oncology radical cystectomy is the standard treatment for muscle-invasive bladder cancer. Radical cystectomy is one of the most traumatic operations, so the risk of early and late postoperative complications is high. Priority directions of scientific researches in the surgery of bladder cancer, is the improvement of surgical techniques for radical cystectomy with various urinary diversion options, as well as optimization of postoperative management, with the aim of reducing the number of early and late postoperative complications.
