This article reflects stages of treatment of funnel chest in Tomsk Region from 1977 to 2009. The work provides analysis of surgical treatment of 78 patients, including 42 patients who were operated by means of thoracoplasty with the following fixation of costosternal complex using previously chilled titanium nickelide plates, which have thermodynamic properties.
