In this article choreographic art is considered as the way to develop universal values of participants of creative projects. The author analyzed different approaches to the definition of “human values” of both Russian and foreign scientists. The attention is paid to the fact that human values have a dynamic character of development. The author also described the complex reasons that determine changes of human values. It is indicated that the changes happen due to several culture crises in modern Russia. According to the author, today dancing can be described as form of teaching people about moral values and respect for their body. The author’s theoretical analysis of the main trends of dance shows that modern dance pedagogy focuses on the values, ideals and ideas generated by society for a long period.
