Бесплатный доступ

Over several centuries, Russian vocal and choir culture developed on the basis of church and folk culture, as well as Western European cultures. Over its long development, Russian choir music has evolved in its performing styles, aesthetics, standards and methods of sound formation. Today, this area of musical art has an extensive repertoire, a specific performing technique and conducting skills, a special singing timbre, formed, to a large extent, by specific local phonation and intonation characteristic of Russian singing art. The work on the quality and accuracy of sound intonation through characteristic phonation is of fundamental importance for the ensemble coherence of the choir, which is determined primarily by the fusion of voices in phonetic and pitch unity. The article touches upon the most important problem related to the alignment and balance of the sound of the choir system, which largely depends on good stylistic skills related to the historical and cultural layers of Russian choir music.
