Productive and useful traits of crossbred sows with different combinations of genotypes for PRLR and ESR genes

In this study, we investigated the distribution of different combinations for PRLR / ESR genes and their association with productive and useful traits in crossbred (Yorkshire × Landrace) sows in Republic of Tatarstan. Studies have shown that among the hybrid sows was dominated by three combined genotypes of PRLR / ESR ABWW, AAWW, AAWM. Productive and useful traits differed combinations genotypes of PRLR / ESR - AAWW, ABWW, ABWM (for meat quality), PRLR / ESR BBWM (for growth parameters) and a PRLR / ESR AAWM, AAMM (reproductive qualities) respectively.
