Economic entity in competition law

This article is devoted to the study of the concept and characteristics of an economic entity in Russian competition law. The relevance of the topic is due to the need to clarify the legal status of economic entities as the main participants in competitive relations. The article analyzes various approaches to the definition of an economic entity, examines its main characteristics, and identifies problems of legal regulation of the activities of economic entities. The author draws attention to the insufficient certainty of the concept of an economic entity in legislation, the presence of conflicts and gaps in legal regulation. As a result of the study, it is concluded that it is necessary to improve the legal norms regulating the status of an economic entity in competition law.
