The Christian theme in Pasternak's novel «Doctor Zhivago»

The novel "Doctor Zhivago" is considered in the light of the interpretation of the image of Christ and the Gospel, which were understood by B. Pasternak as the eternal basis of human history and culture. During the analysis, the dominant Christian motifs were singled out, the "author's" and "quotation" plans of the work were compared. The conclusion is drawn that the evangelical theme of the Mystery of the Incarnation determines the poetics and philosophy of the novel.
