Christian tradition and art creation

Tradition author defines the article as the presence in the work of cultural memory. Comprehension in the artistic creativity of the Christian essence of man testifies to the Christian tradition. Tradition is considered in folklore, in the rhetorical epoch, in the New Time. Anti-traditionalism of the 20th century in the article is interpreted as a break with the Christian tradition. In this aspect, the implicit connections between the leading Russian formalists and the theorists of postmodernism are traced in this aspect, making a bet on a marginal cultural minority. Particular attention is paid to adherents of the Christian tradition in the artistic creativity of the 20th century both in Russia and in the West.
