Christian values and international law: issues of interrelation at the present stage

The article describes the main stages of the interaction between religious norms and the norms of international law. There are analyzed assessments both lawyers and Church community about the relevance of Church values in the development of international law. There is shown the contemporary interrelation of religious documents and norms of international law on such examples as the attitude toward crime aggression, the system of human rights, the Ecumenical movement and the biased attitude on Christians in Muslim countries. It is shown, there is contained an assessment of international relations in contemporary documents of Christian Churches and the article reveals the content of the universally recognized principles of international law from the point of view of the Christian doctrine.
