The study reviews such urgent phenomena as multiculturalism, glocalisation, and interculturalism in their coexistence in the unified social and cultural space of the Cristian denominations in Russia; their cultural identity is revealed. The term ‘small religious group’ similar to the term ‘small ethnic group’ is introduced in relation to the cultural identity of the Christian denominations of Russia. The analysis of the concepts of globalization, glocalisation, multiculturalism, and interculturalism proves that the principle of interculturalism is the most relevant one and corresponds to the modern social and cultural realities. The research proves that interculturalism does not imply assimilation but requires greater integration, interaction, mutual influence of ethnocultural minorities. It is concluded that Christian denominations in Russia, being the glocal phenomena, are manifested, among other things, through media, affect each other overcoming the multiculturalism and engaging in the process of interculturalism and enculturation.
