Christian realism in Russian literature (the statement of problem)

The article analyzes the history of the term realism in Russian criticism and literary criticism, substantiates the concept of realism as a historical type of mimesis, criticizes the notion of Russian realism as a "critical realism," and argues the concept of Christian realism.
