Chromospheric oscillations in CaII lines

We made analysis of dynamic regime of eight regions in the quiet solar chromosphere. Observations in CaII lines were performed at moderate spatial resolution of about 2″. The purpose of this study was to check diagnostic capabilities of such observations as compared to high-precision measurements performed by different authors with new-generation instruments in the last few years. Being probably of importance in the chromospheric heating, recently revealed structural formations (magnetoacoustic portals, magnetic aureoles, magnetic shadows) were found out to manifest themselves at moderate resolution too. The obtained results are of interest in connection with the study of coronal hole bases made by authors with the same observational material.
