Chronotop of epistolary text (based on A. S. Pushkin's and M. Gorky's letters)

Frequency lexical means of the representation of time and space categories in Russian private correspondence are considered. On the basis of content classification of utterances incorporating given language means, the types of epistolary chronotop is revealed. It has been ascertained that authors of letters implement by "chronotopic" utterances some communicative intentions, such as a report about either the author's or a third person's activities, a question, a request, an invitation, an advice, an offer.
