Versailles in art of the film

This article is devoted to the Versailles palace complex which from the phenomenal poetic component throughout more than three centuries, was a source of inspiration of monarchs and attendants of muses of classical art forms. With the birth of new art - cinema, Versailles appears in the center of a movie camera, acting and as an architectural background of action, and as an artistic image, and as independent “actor” with the tasks in a director's concept of game cinema. Special attention in article is given to the review of those movies in which ideological plans the role of the host of the plan was intended to Versailles.
