The ideal traces in the criminalistics

The article is devoted to the study of the ideal traces and their place in the system of criminalistics. Despite the recognition ideal traces as independent traces, along with the material, a complex of issues that require further scientific development is revealed. Analysing these issues, the necessity of creation of conceptual provisions of the criminalistic doctrine of traces (material and ideal) as a forensic subtheory is proven.
