The ideal type and professional deformations of a physician's personality in the modern globalized society

The article deals with the problems intended to construct the ideal type of the modern physician, identify the key aspects of professional deformations of his personality and analyze the effects of these form alterations on the principles of attitude towards a patient. The paper reviews either the required characteristics of medical practice or the indicators of the physician's subjectness. The latter reflects the perceived boundaries of his professional and personal impact on a patient, attitude towards himself as a personality and a professional, attitudes towards the professional medical society and the established social and historical traditions of healing.
