The ideas of sanitary legislation of the Russian empire of end of the XIX - beginning of the XX centuries in the research works by I.P. Skvortsov

The article shows that the questions of the medical law and particularly of the sanitary legislation consisted the scientific interest of the educational and practical activities of the hygienist-professor I.P. Skvortsov. Skvortsov point of view about the necessity of the sanitary legislation to be singled out into a separate field of legal science and practice, of the creation of multi-level sanitary legislation. The continuity of his scientific ideas and the need of modern specialists in the sphere of popular medicine and medical law to study them.
