Ideals of labor education in Kyrgyz folklore

In this article, labor and labor education are examined as the main motive, the main idea of the Kyrgyz folklore. The labor education of the young generation is analyzed in cultural works ranging from myths, which are considered as the oldest layer of folklore, to the Epic of Manas and folk tales, analysis of which has shown that lessons learned from them were formed basically in proverbs as principles of labor education. Proverbs played significant role in labor education due to their deep pedagogical values, brevity, figurativeness, accuracy and clarity. The disclosure of the educational essence of folklore will serve as effective means of introducing the labor education into schools.
