Idea of patriotism: place and role in the history of Russia

In the article the developmental problem of ideology of patriotism in Russia as a characteristic feature of Russian mentality and spiritual basis of the Russian statehood development is considered. The author points out the most meaningful factors and developmental factors of Russian patriotism using historical examples.
