The idea of sovereignty in the philosophical and legal, political and legal concepts of the XIX century

In modern conditions, complicated by developments in the international arena, there is a heightened interest to the views of the representatives of German classical philosophy and philosophers of the Postclassical period of the second half of the XIX century on the state sovereignty issue. At present, Immanuel Kant’s and G.W.F. Hegel’s views on sovereignty have become very actual due to globalization processes of the modern world, which along with positive changes for different countries often entail negative consequences. Therefore, today it is necessary to consider its classical interpretations as well as postclassical interpretations, which in the twentieth century mainstreamed the problems of axiological measurement of the concept of sovereignty, issues of its sources, and the problem of possible limits.
