The identification of the rumen microorganisms in cattle

The assay technique on the microflex Maldi Biotyper device allows to identify anaerobes from aerobes in rumen contents of the cattle. The identification procedure used detects both facultative and transitory microorganisms. The identification of rumen contents according this methodology reveals on early stages the occurrence of subclinical abnormalities, diseases caused by opportunistic and pathogenic bacteria in the rumen of cattle.
