Identification in the multicultural space: philosophical and sociological aspects

The article formulates the definitions and characteristics indicated by a modern “multicultural society”, “multiculturalism”. There are different points of view on the relationship the concepts of “global culture”, “identity”, “tolerance”. The authors consider the socio-philosophical meaning of the concept of multiculturalism, its methodological possibilities and prospects for practical application.
