Ideologues of oblastnichestvo about importance of education in process of interethnic political and cultural integration

The paper establishes that the culture-education program of oblastnichestvo in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries included the item according to which education was the most important, prime source for the future growth of social consciousness and the main condition for developing the basis of civism.
