Ideological aspects of activity of the modern Russian museum in a multinational macroregion: from the raising of tasks to the experience of embodiment

The article is devoted to the problem of the use of historical and cultural heritage for the political purposes. The examples of constructing of the anti-russian ideological cliches built on tendentious interpretation of events of the past are made. The set of fundamental positions the modern Russian museum must follow is offered. The particular experience of the use of these principles is described.
