Ideology and worldview: an attempt of comparison

The article deals with the notion of ideology in the light of the worldview foundations of human existence. The term «worldview» is treated as a system of various beliefs, views, ideas, sensory complexes and ideals that reveal the practical and spiritual attitude of a person to the world. In this context the authors propose to interpret ideology as such a worldview phenomenon that allows to defi and express the attitude of one social group that has one type of social worldview to other social groups that have a different type of social worldview, as well as to form programs for the behavior of various social groups in relation to each other.
