Yiddish community in the social medium of the Jewish autonomies region

The notions of Yiddish community, social medium and their interrelation are analyzed in the article. The authors proceed from the postulate that revealing this reciprocal influence should be taken into account while considering the problem of keeping the territory status of national autonomous subject within the Russian Federation.
