this article is devoted to the role of the game as a mean of increasing efficiency of foreign language vocabulary mastery among pupils of primary school age. Based on the identified characteristics of this concept, the relevance of using games at the lessons, its efficiency and the promotion of vocabulary mastery, thinking, creative imagination and maintaining interest in the language being studied are proved.
