The article deals with the interpretation of the anthropogenic load map data of the International Earth Science Information Center (CIESIN) and the Anthropogenic Influence Index for the Amur basin in the territory of the Jewish Autonomous Region. The aspects of anthropogenic impact on the fish fauna of the rivers of the region are characterized. For the first time we present the data on the percentage of sites with different anthropogenic impact for the reviers and their basins of the region. The taxonomic composition of the fish fauna of the Amur tributaries Zabelovka, Tunguska, Urmi, and Birala is provided. The fish population density is estimated. The biodiversity level is determined according to the Shannon index (H), and the degree of species composition similarity estimated by the Jacquard coefficient (K). Examples of quantitative and qualitative differences in fish fauna of river basins with different degree of anthropogenic influence are provided. The data is new for the region.
