Бесплатный доступ

The paper explores the iconic aspects of language activity comparing the iconic potential of everyday and poetic languages. It is demonstrated that apart from opposing conventionality iconicity is a source of language dynamics at all levels. Poetic language is almost entirely based on iconicity of all types while iconicity is not restricted to poetic language being inseparable from language in general.
