Image as an exponent of cultural meanings

The article applies to the phenomenon of image. The author describes a number of approaches to its research, such as psychological, politological, sociо-philosophic and cultural, and considers connection of image with mentality, correlation of typical and individual image, and also a phenomenon of anti-image appearing as a result of protest against existing social order.
