Immunological and morphological factors of skin remodeling in patients with atopic dermatitis

Бесплатный доступ

20 patients with atopic dermatitis and 10 healthy volunteers were examined to evaluate concentrations of IL-4, IFN-ƒ, IL-10 and IL-17 in skin exudates and skin ultrastructure. Values of cytokines were defined using ELISA whereas skin ultrastrucrure were examined by transmission electronoscopy. Following features of skin remodeling were revealed: high level of IL-10 in skin exudate, akantosis, change of collagen fibres, and increase in aging fibroblasts, lymphatic infiltration, fibrosis and hyalinosis. All these may serve a base for approaches to the local rehabilitation of atopic dermatitis.
