Immunologic monitoring in veterinary medicine. Tendency of development, potential and reality

The author considers a problem of immunologic monitoring of different populations of agricultural animals. The criterion for estimation of the defects in different section of immune system were described. The methods were presented which permitting to analyze most informatively the animals immunologic status. The types and the forms of immunodeficiency were characterized. The author devotes the attention to the diagnostic signs and the character of inheritance of the immunodeficiency states resulting from the defects in B- and T-systems of immunity and also the inborn (BLAD-syndrome) and the acquired form of immune insufficiency. The necessity of standardization and unification of the methods of immunologic analysis was discussed.
