Prevention of impaired bone tissue regeneration with delayed consolidation of the jaw fractures is one of actual problems in dental surgery. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of bioresonance stimulation (BRS) in patients with a mandible fracture. The study involved 80 patients aged from 20 to 48 years with mandible fractures. In addition to usual clinical examination, we measured the following parameters in patients’ blood: CD-markers, circulating immune complexes (CIC), immunoglobulin A, M, G, lysozyme, and complement hemolytic activity. All participants were divided into 2 groups (40 patients in each): Group 1 included patients with unilateral fractures of the mandible receiving bioresonance therapy as a part of their treatment course; Group 2 included patients with unilateral fractures of the mandible receiving conventional therapy. Estimation of immunological changes induced by the therapy showed that patients in the Group 1 had a significant increase in the levels of CD3+ and CD4+ cells as well as increased immunoregulatory index (IRI). Along with the growth and probable activation of lymphocytes regulatory effects, we observed a decrease of initially elevated levels of IgA and IgM, an increase of initially low levels of IgG, and normalization of CIC level. It was confirmed by a significant negative correlation between the levels of CD3+, CD4+, IRI, IgA, IgM, and CIC and significant positive correlation between the levels of CD3+, CD4+, IRI, and IgG. We also observed a substantial growth of the lysozyme level. Thus, the immunocorrection effect of treatment schemes with BRS is unidirectional and undoubtful. This allows recommending the method for the therapy of patients with mandible fractures during both in-patient and out-patient treatment.
