Imperial characteristics of Chinggis Khan 's power in historiographical discourse

The article is devoted to the study of the medieval Mongolian state during the reign of Genghis Khan in the light of the concepts of nomadic and steppe empires. The author pays a considerable attention to the analysis of goal-setting component of the Great Mongol Empire’s ideology. He concludes that the Genghis Khan's power is a special stage in the construction of the Great Mongol Empire. During this period, the Eurasian imperial community is formed through the situational transformation of political and economic institutions, due to the response to geopolitical challenges rather than the conscious plan of the new world order.
