Implicit imperatives as elements of communication

The article dwells on particularities of implicit imperatives in verbal communication. The paper considers the role of lexicalization and glamorization in conveying implicit aggression. The author gives examples that show aggression as a threat, as hidden irritation, as negative assessment of the addressee. The article emphasizes that a statement in a stylistically oriented message very often can be explained by implicit moral views of the sender. The article also points that implicit moral norms are an integral part of cognitive process of a verbal communication act.
