Import replacement in Russia: results and prospects of development

The article analyses the progress of import replacement strategy implementationin Russia. It gives data about shares of dependence on import of various branchesof a national economy of the Russian Federation, and it consideres exper ts’opinions and the Government’s forecasts. Problems of substitution of concepts anddistortions of official statistics are designated. It gives forecast about absence oflong-term economic benefit from import replacement.
