High efficiency of the bactericidal action of the cold argon plasma generated by low-current high-voltage discharges at atmospheric pressure is shown. The research of survival rate of bacteria in diffusion plasma of the decaying discharge at atmospheric pressure has shown that full inactivation of the microorganisms is observed during 2 minutes in each mode.
