The article reviewed the characteristics of the labor potential of employees of PJSC NK ROSNEFT, in particular its impact on innovative development, due to the fact that the importance of a person is considered to be leading in the system of production relations. Personnel management implies that when managing innovations, the main thing is managing the employees themselves and their relationships. We assume that with the effective use of human capital, that is, the introduction of new knowledge and the rational use of the results of innovation activities, the structure of the enterprise may change qualitatively.
